Hungarian TV Channel To Launch “Popsi Idol” Centerfold Reality Show

Cool TV, Hungary’s most daring and controversial television channel, is launching a new eight-week “docu-reality” show for, you got it, aspiring nude models. The deadline for entrants to the new show, to be known as “Aktmodell,” is June 1. All girls must be over 18, not professional nude or porn models and willing to bare most, if not all, for the cameras. The new show will be hosted by “Miss Balaton” finalist Kata Virág Mák (right, 86-62-87), and jury members will include nude model Zsanett Égerházy (click the link to see her “at work”), beauty queen Éva Horváth, TV and radio host László Jáksó and hair stylist László Hajas. Cool has built its reputation for airing shows like “Hungarikum”, a cartoon series that makes fun of Hungarian historical figures, “Vad csajok” (“Wild Girls”), a reality show about sex workers, and the American gay and lesbian shows “Queer as Folk” and “The L Word.” The channel promises to move away from the “sometimes boring erotic content of Hungarian nude calendars.” It’s safe to say this show is unlikely to be a flop with viewers.
