Hungarian Boxing Film Wins Gay Porn “Oscar”

A gay porn flick directed by a Cool TV executive has come from behind to win a prestigious GayVN award, an offshoot of the even more prestigious AVN Awards. Unknown and self-confessed hobby director Tamás Szebeni‘s debut film “Knockout” plays out in an international boxing camp with a Hungarian trainer and picked up the prize for best foreign film at the gala bash in San Francisco. This despite all of the actors, including Czech hunk Tim Hamilton (last seen flexing his muscles over at bisexual portal Velvet), being straight. “The only instructions I gave were to act so that no one would ever know that they are hetero,” Szebeni said, giving the game away. He also denied that using young straight actors was exploitative: “They earn good money, and I think a multinational company exploits young employees much more than a film shoot like this.” Comparing a gay porn shoot to hammering away 9 to 5 at L’Oreal, Coca-Cola or Nokia, you’ve got to love it. But not everyone loves a bit of gay fun, least of all Hungarian Boxing Federation (boy will they love to see their names bolded in pink) tough guy Sándor Csötönyi who said it was a disgrace to depict boxers in this light. Another one, who has obviously never read a decent porn film script.
