Swingers' Clubs

From the outside, these venues tend to look like suburban hotels or private houses, but they function as clubs open to regular and casual visitors, featuring sex-friendly furniture, Jacuzzis, and condoms for everyone. Men are usually required to pay an entry fee starting at around Ft 2,000 (€8) while women walk in free, and there are often theme nights, including the famous Spriccparty. Such clubs are generally safe and cheerful, and are left alone by the authorities; one leading establishment was recently closed, but due to noise rather than the sordid activities of the patrons. Even Hungarians who don't swing are usually very liberal about sex.
