Priest Refuses to Confess to Gay Confessional Advances

While the appropriateness of tasteless photoshopping vis-a-vis married politicians touting for gay sex in public places continues to be discussed over on Pestiside.hu, a Hungarian Catholic priest has gone one step further, by allegedly offering money to youths in exchange for sexual services in the confessional booth. According to this Blikk report, the priest from Rád in Pest County was recently retired by his bishop to “protect him from harassment.” The furore only recently came to the attention of the tabloids after Zoltán Marosvölgyi, a 19-year-old Rád resident, claimed he had received the following “unambiguous” text message from Father Ferenc M.: “I would give any financial reward to feel your dick inside me.” The story prompted further investigation into the priest past postings, which revealed alleged indecent proposals are nothing new to FF.Further Blikk probing revealed that the priest had already made advances in his previous position at the Catholic Church of Jobbágy, Nógrád County. “The priest tried to approach me during confession, and wanted to touch me. He did this with many people, I know for a fact he offered money for sex to certain people,” said a 17-year-old Jobbágyi youth, speaking on conditions of anonymity and adding that some of his peers had accepted several thousand forints. Father Ferenc suddenly disappeared from the village under suspicious circumstances some 18 months ago.

Of course, the priest is denying everything, claiming he had lost his phone and accusing a Rád religious education teacher H. Editet of stealing it and sending the lurid messages. As a good Christian, she has denied everything too, arguing that she was in Croatia at the time the phone went missing.
